Been here a couple times and the food is usually pretty good. Came for dinner tonight and had the individual house Stromboli and it was awesome. It is stuffed with pepperoni, salami, ham and cheese and comes with a side of marinara.....it was excellent. The service is good although it can be a bit slow sometimes and my only real complaint is that almost all of the food (besides the lunch specials) is way overpriced.....my Stromboli was $14 and the cheapest pasta dish was in the $18 range....

Poor service and so so food. Travel here for business. Had lunch, pasta. The pasta was not fully cooked. I felt a little cold and trying to move from inside to outside. The waitress just hold the side salad. I was holding the cup, my stuff and all the utensils. Both of my hands were full. She did not open the door for me, watching me push open the door with my body. Once outside, i picked a spot. I can see bread crunches on the table, she just put the salad bowl on top of those crunches. Doesn't bother to wipe clean the table. Quite poor service.

Came to this restaurant following prior reviews and because it is the only decent place by the hotel I was staying. Let's say that the service takes the 1st. place. Excellent for this kind of restaurant. The food is standard but I wasn't disappointed it. Also great Happy Hour from 4-6.

I went by here twice during my stay in GJ. While it isn't the best pizza or pasta in town, it is good. They have special wine and beer nights which is nice. Finding alcohol specials in GJ is damn near impossible. The wine selection ranges from pricy to affordable. I can tell you that I would definitely suggest you go with pasta over pizza. There is one item that stands out here though: the prosciutto wrapped asparagus appetizer. I got that both times and was not disappointed either time. Anyways, this isn't a bad spot, especially if you're close to the airport in a hotel and don't want to go downtown.

Soggy crust, toppings were too wet. Not enough cheese, skimpy toppings at that. Cold pizza and canned pineapple. At 25.00 per pizza, it should have been better.

Had the pastrami sandwich and it was amazing! Everything else that my table ordered looked great too... Next time I'll try the calzone

Flew into Grand Junction for a wedding. The bride & groom selected Enzo's to host their rehearsal diner. The food was outstanding! They provided a buffet setup with a wide selection of their menu. Everyone was very happy with the entire selection. My personal favorite was the manicotti. Also, for deserts, the cannoli was the best I had ever had. If I ever find myself back in Grand Junction I will come back to Enzo's.

Excellent!! Great pizza, great calzone, great atmosphere, great happy hour specials. It is convenient to the hotels just off the highway and I will definitely be going back.

Three of us went to Enzos for an early dinner. We decided to split several appetizer dishes between us. Here's what we ordered: Classic Tomato Bruschetta Figa-Figa Asparagus Wraps Asiago-Artichoke Dip We were so pleased (and stuffed!) with the food. I can recommend Enzos without any hesitation. However: it does get loud & crowded. We arrived just before the dinner rush. So just be aware of that, and prepare accordingly if you are wanting a quieter dining experience. The service was a little spotty, that's the only (small) critique I can give. But I still give it 5 stars here.

OK, so I got myself screwed because I asked for what I wanted, not what was on the menu... so its my fault, huh? Any great Italian restaurant could have rolled with the request. I wanted a piece of eggplant on my pizza... Hey, its an italian vegetable isn't it? What came out of the kitchen was a previously frozen, slice of eggplant, which was insufficiently heated and had no olive oil on it to get it fully cooked... Bada Bing. I guess the chef was the summer replacement guy... All in all, they deserve a coupl'a more chances, with me not having any idea what I want, when I walk in the door

Excellent clam pizza (with white sauce), fantastic beer and wonderful Italian Cobb Salad. Our dog even joined us on the patio. Thank you for being dog friendly!

I was staying at the nearby hotel while passing through town, and I needed a bite. I wasn't expecting much, but Enzo's was a pleasant surprise. They have a pretty sizable menu, and it took me a while to decide what to order. The included bread and spread was excellent. I got a calzone with chicken on a whim and it was huge (was wondering if I had accidentally ordered the larger size, but nope it seemed to be the individual size), so I ended up using a takeout box. There was a lot of cheese and the crust was good. Part of the grilled chicken strips inside was slightly cold probably because they were precooked, so I would recommend getting the other types of meats for the calzone, but overall I enjoyed the calzone. 8.5/10 Pretty good experience

What a fantastic meal. An amazing evening on the patio with my family. Ravioli Rustica and Fettuccine alla Bolognese. It was all delicious and our server was attentive and on point. My daughter is a silly girl and I enjoyed watching her devour our tiramisu. Must try

Stayed at the hotel across the street and wanted something in walking distance. Perfect match! The prices like others have reviews were a little more than I expected for Grand Junction but OK for a decently nice Italian restaurant. Still I would like to see lower prices for some of their entrees. Regardless service was great. Was greeted immediately and asked to sit at the bar since I was traveling alone. The bartender was attentive and accommodated my custom order of a chicken Caesar salad (not on menu). Couldn't be happier for the service and food. All in all 4/5! A little pricey for a strip mall locale but still deserving!

    (4)
  • Emma W.

Good but nothing to write home about. This is in a strip mall with neon signs so amazing for the concept.

Best of the best here folks. Great food, service and atmosphere. Love this place and will be back over and over!

Service: from the time you step into the door till the time you get your check you're greeted with rudeness. Staff sure makes you feel like your interrupting their day with you showing up there. I had to ask for plates for everything, it seems like they keep the plates in a vault next to their secret pizza sauce. Food: pizza ingredients are falling apart, no consistency in the amount of sauce on pizza, dough was a little under cooked. Taking a bit of the pizza and watching everything fall off the crust into the plate to eat as a second meal was probably the highlight of this visit, in case you didn't get it, that was pure sarcasm. Price: let's see here an over priced pizza for sure. So as a conclusion, bad service+bad food+ high prices for the quality provided= I don't recommend this place. Although I hear Pizza Hut down the street makes way more consistent pizza.

My wife and I were traveling to Denver by car and pulled off the highway at Grand Junction for lunch. We noticed Enzo's and stopped in. The food and service were both great and we really enjoyed the atmosphere which was a perfect cross between elegant and casual. The prices were very fair. It's quite a nice place that we felt lucky to have found being that we were strangers in town. Chuck Hornsby

I was very disappointed with this restaurant after reading the Yelp reviews. Very simply put the service was not very good the food was not very good. I went with my son tonight and it took a while for the waitress to arrive. I asked her what was good she gave some generic answer like "spaghetti". So we ordered our food and was expecting the salad and some rolls within a reasonable amount of time. It took quite some time to get them. The salad we had was ok a little too much dressing. The entrees were not good at all. I would not come back here again

    (2)
  • Michael R.

The pizza was amazing. Super crispy crust and great toppings. The place was a little cramped but we went during happy hour so we had great appetizers. Staff was really nice as well

I grew up in New York City and lived there for the first 3 decades of my life. After living in Grand Junction for nearly 20 years, I have decided that this is the best place to get authentic pizza. Pablo's & The Hot Tomato in Fruita have good pizza but it's not the kind of pizza I grew up with. Boutique-y pizzas are what they offer. When I want delicious pizza that is similar to good old New York City style pizza, Enzo's is the place to go. One issue I do have is that the prices can be a bit exorbitant. I think we paid about $23 for a pizza margharita with fresh basil on it. It was delicious. The bill caused me some "agita" though. I mean, how much does some dough, tomato, and mozzarella cheese cost? The decor is nothing to brag about but the food is tasty and the service was good, as well.

We visited Grand Junction 3 nights and 2 days. Enzo's was right by our hotel and we were quite anxious to try it. The first night there, we were too late, Sunday they were closed and Monday we were finally able to try it. It was worth the wait! I ordered their meatball sliders, which were fantastic! They had to be eaten with a knife and fork which was no big deal. I do wish I had eaten their pizza with husband because that looked fantastic. The waiter was fantastic. My only complaint was the time it took to get our food, however, our waiter did provide us complimentary bread for the inconvenience.

  • Kari S.

Waited 70 minutes for my food (that I had called in to take out; was supposed to be 40 min) and then didn't even get what I ordered but didn't know til I got home. It was so hot and stuffy in there I couldn't wait around another second! Asparagus and chicken dishes were good but eggplant was barely recognizable. Definitely NOT worth the price or the wait.

Ordered online and received confirmation # email, showed up at my appointed time, no order, no smile, no sympathy. Save yourself the trouble and go to another pizza place

Mediocre pizza. $17.00 for a half/half medium pizza and soda, really??? Chain pizza, just as good.

  • Lesley K.

Great pizza, easy to order online. We stayed at a hotel within walking distance, used the online ordering site, walked over,it was right on time, walked back and yummy....good stuff. Price was ok because quality was good...

  • Tres D.

Ordered a large pizza for take out tonight. Pepperoni with GreenPeppers & Onion on half of it. It was ready for pick up in 15 minutes & made just the way I like it. The veggies were cut small, plenty of spices in the sauce, and a great hand tossed crust.

    (4)
  • Rachel M.

Definitely can't complain about the prices, like some other reviewers have. Maybe that's because I live in CA, the land of overpriced everything. I had a slice of cheese for $2.50 and cup of soup for $3.00. It was just okay, though. My crust was thin and mostly nice and crispy, but unfortunately some parts were charred into oblivion. The butternut squash soup was greatly improved with some heavy-handed pepper action.

I usually tend to not eat Italian food. Not sure why, maybe because I am adventurous and like to try new things. This is near hotel row and I was tired so I went here. Since I dine alone, I opted to sit at the bar. The woman that waited in me was so sweet and attentive- very likable. She smiled, laughed and helped with food recommendations. I ordered the eggplant and had a Caesar salad. The salad was so good- not your ordinary salad. It had tons of garlic & cheese, just like their rolls. I was already impressed! The eggplant was so much more than I was expecting. Really! It was wrapped in prosciutto. I was chatting with the server & told her how I heard of the place so she had the owner come out to meet me. Enzo was a very friendly man. Be sure to try this place- it is a local favorite like the GJ Cheers. I wished I would have gone back there the next evening, but opted to try a Japanese place which I still regret! Tell Enzo Yelp sent you!

  • Susan S.

Had the asiago gnocchi which was very good. Great service at the bar. Chocolate toffee dessert was amazing. Place gets very crowded and can have a bit of a wait.

    (5)
  • Kerrie F.

Food quality is great and a good portion. But quite pricy on a less expensive product to develop. Seating is very tight and the main dining room is a struggle for wait staff to navigate. Can freeze as a patron on a semi chilly day if the side patio is being accessed. We tend to rarely eat here due to the cost.

    (3)
  • Jeanette G.

This place is the best - I had the chicken marsala which is excellent and the pastas are fresh and delicious! Great wine selection and amazing service. A+++

  • Stan L.

We just happen to meet a friend of the owner earlier in the day. We ate there two weeks ago and I forgot to do write up my review of this restaurant. We were there on a Saturday night. The wait was short, but they were busy. The service was excellent and food even better. The Lasagna was the best I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot. The rolls were hot with butter and garlic on them. Over all a good experience and we will return when in the area. Prices were reasonable too

Decent food. Good service. My husbands chicken piccata is better!

in a strip mall towards the airport and I was beyond reluctant to agree to go to this place when some locals recommended it, but i'm glad the group over ruled me! Best restaurant I've eaten at in a long time-so good in fact, that I regularly suggest driving the 60 miles to go to it for dinner (wife nixes that almost every time). When we are in Gjct this will be our new go to place! Excellent food, great prices and great service-definitely 5 stars

    (5)
  • Alex L.

Awesome! Great food, great service! The owners are very nice. A family friendly atmosphere with very well put together menu items. The food is consistently good and prompt. Drinks are well made and priced decently. The lunch menu is nice and service is quick. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Italian meal.

  • El C.

Had the veggie extreme 10 inch. High: -quality -fresh -great flavor Low: Over $16.00 for 10 inch pizza that yields 4 slices. Recommendation: don't go there if your on a budget.

  • Bret E.

Had the chick Alfredo, with a glass. According to all the locals this is the place to go for Italian. Good atmosphere, nice people. As a traveler kinda hard to rate against the other local pasta places but the locals rate it highly, and it probably is the best Italian in the valley.

  • Sue T.

This is a must when we come to GJ. We've eaten here everytime in GJ for 5+ years and have always had great food. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The dishes all have different flavor, not just the same sauce with different noodles. Everything tastes fresh, good wine selection. Price point for what is included is very good. Enzo and Kelly have a great thing going. Highly, highly recommend!!!

    (5)
  • Tyler C.

Best Italian in junction. Classy and fun atmosphere. Great wine list and great food. Service always good even though they are constantly serving a full house! Kudos

    (5)
  • Maggie L.

Authentic Italian as far as I can tell from only visiting Italy once. In 10 words or less, service was great, food out of this world!Evan was attentive and knew the menu and the wine list. Nice to have a server with personality who treated us more like family than a table to be waited on. We got the eggplant and it was excellent. We did not get dessert. Would we go back? In a New York minute!!

  • Jeanne W.

Tried this place since it was close to the hotel and had some good reviews on yelp. For some reason, the wait was a little longer the night we were there but the food wasn't bad when it arrived. Had the appetizer which was a fried calzone I think and that was different. Not what I expected but tasted ok. The pizza was pretty good and tasty. Ordered the specialty pizza and their italian sausage was very good! The beer selection was pretty vast as well surprisingly for a little family owned restaurant. Not bad. Large selection of specialty pizzas to choose from and it looked like authentic italiano food.

  • Mark C.

Ordered a corona the young man told me that this was an Italian restaurant, that didn't,t bother me until he got upset that I ordered ice tea, left to go get , came back at least ten minutes later. Chose a three topping pizza that took another thirty minutes. $22 and change I will put a good word about the crust it was made right with double 00 flour and fermented over night, if there was a two and a half star option I would give them that for the crust done right. OK edit to 3 stars even though the waiter was a punk

    (3)
  • Kevin S.

I walked in the door and smelled burnt garlic, always a bad sign. This is mediocre American style Italian, nothing more, nothing less. If you want to sit down for some pizza or pasta and have a drink in a noisy casual environment and don't care too much about the food, this is a good choice.

  • He And She I.

May I paraphrase? Pepper-crusted ahi tuna, lightly seared drizzled with lemon and capers, sprinkled with fresh grated parmagiano. Yelp scores again! Nice table on the patio, and good service. Very happy we found this place.

  • Joshua F.

Food was good, the meatball sandwich was tasty. Service was slow, especially for lunch time when they weren't that busy. Will definitely go back as the food was good and the staff nice.

  • Jennifer S.

Enzo's was near our hotel, so we decided to try it out. We got in just before the dinner rush. The mac and cheese gouda bites were delicious--the sauce brought the dish over the top. I got the eggplant rolitini which was amazing--generous portions, fresh-tasting, lots of flavor. My husband got the tortellini cabonara--smaller portion but still filling. Our kid didn't love the cheese pizza she got, but i thought it tasted ok. Excellent service. Would consider going all the way back to Grand Junction just for this!

  • Kate K.

We stopped in for dinner last week on a quick overnight trip to Grand Junction. We ended up here because it was within walking distance of the hotel. The food and service were just OK. My salad needed more dressing - it was a large Italian Cobb salad, and was served with a TINY ramekin of dressing. The service was a little slow, and we were starving after a long day of rafting and driving, so I never got the chance to ask for more. I opted for a glass of wine and was happy to see local wine options. I went for a Pinot Grigio, but was served something else entirely that tasted like it had been open for 3 or 4 weeks in the back of the fridge - and to top it off, it was $8 for a mediocre sized pour. Not quite what I was hoping for. We asked our server to split the bill and she brought back separate checks. We each paid with a card, and upon returning to Denver 2 days later, I noticed she charged my card twice and never ran my friend's card. Guess dinner was on me that night! All in all it wasn't a fantastic experience. I will say, the folks at the table next to us were sharing a calzone, and it looked and smelled amazing - maybe I just made the wrong choice.

  • Kristina Y.

What a fantastic ambiance. Was very cozy and warm. The house salad was good as house salads go. The chicken jalapeno poppers a must try! Absolutely delicious. The fettuccini Alfredo with chicken was wonderful. The chicken parmesan was pretty good, but the marinara could have used a bit more zip. Wait staff was very friendly and quick to respond with refills when needed.

    (4)
  • Douglas S.

Terrific Italian. Lasagne and eggplant pram were hot, fresh and delightful. The warm rolls (all to go) were an unexpected bonus. I'd say for home cooked takeout this is a terrific place!

    (4)
  • Susan M.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Enzo's. I had the potato leek soup which came with my entree of Chicken Parmesan. The Chicken Parm is baked, not fried, so it's a lot healthier for you. The portion was large and very tasty. The spaghetti that came with it was OK, but I had to ask for (and received) more sauce. Service was excellent as well. From where I was seated, I could watch the kitchen and that was fun, too.

  • Andy S.

Great place! I was in GJ for business and was told to try this place out. People were friendly and the food was really good! When I walked in I told the hostess I'd like to sit at the bar, she said it's full, I said how much of a wait, she said she didn't know, I said let me go check it out, and I walked in and there were 2 seats at the bar. I sat down and talked to a couple guys for an hour or so. Whatever.

  • Minny R.

Excellent Italian restaurant in the "motel alley" section near the Grand Junction airport. If you're staying overnight at one of the hotels, you don't have to settle for fast food. I loved the bread rolls, my vegetable soup was hearty, and my entree of chicken parm was sumptuous. On top of snazzy Italian entrees, they also serve pizza by the slice.... and it's REAL New York style pizza. Go there with confidence.

Great Fresh italian dishes in warm casual atmosphere. Head it at 11:30 am to beat the rush at noon. Pizza and Calzone's are awesome.

mediocre food mediocre service had there garlic pizza added chicken the pizza by itself was blasting with garlic flavor almost unbearable the pricing was way high paid almost 30 dollars just for the pie Ill stick to Pablos for better price and pizza.

  • Jo Ann W.

A friend and I meet there for dinner on 1/13/12. We could not hear our own conversation over the conversation of the bartender and another employee and the constant bell ringing that the bartender was doing for no apparent reason. My friend and I only ordered salads and the salads took 30 minutes to get to us after ordering. The bell ringing never stopped. When we placed our order we were one of three tables in the place. We only saw our waitress twice. Nope, I won't be back.

On a road trip across the Rockies stopped for supper. Wait staff (Ryan) was above excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. Pizza was as advertised...amazing crust. Recommend the Balsamic Pizza, Fettuccini Alfredo, and the Italian Cobb Salad was awesome. Felt like a local place that we were sneaking into.

Excellent service and some great pizza. In my opinion there are 3 decent pizza joints in the area, Hot Tomato, Pablos and Enzo's. Enzo's has the other two beat. If you plan to dine in get a reservation this place gets packed. Cant wait to go back for apps and wine!

I really liked this place, it seems like a good stop if you're staying on hotel boulevard, aka Horizon Dr. I was on my way to the Canyonlands, and stopped over in Grand Junction for some sleeps, eats, and mountain biking (horsethief bench, so cool...). I wanted some decent food, so didn't want to go to one of the many chains, and Enzo's seemed like a reasonable choice. It's a bit above average italian food, not ultra-casual, but not real upscale. The food was good, with the prices a little more than casual. I had the Da Vinci stromboli (filled with Bolognese meat sauce, pepperoni, bell peppers and onion) and a dinner side salad. The side salad was actually great, one of the best side salads I've had (kind of weird to say, I know), and the stromboli was good. It was huge, so only ate about half of it. Service was excellent, and the interior was dark and cool. They also have a small patio area. All in all, one of the better places I ate at on my southwest swing. I've also eaten at Ale House Brewery in Grand Junction, which is near Horizon as well, and is a solid option.

My son had the cheese pizza and I had stamboli, both were very good. The lunch service was prompt and pleasant.

  • Connie T.

My son's friend suggested this place. I showed up first as I was in that part of town and I waited for my family to arrive. I ordered my soda and an appetizer. The appetizer was served very quickly and my family arrived. We ordered an 18" pizza and I also wanted a salad. The salad was delicious, but the pizza took a very long time to arrive. We waited a little over 30 minutes for our pizza. The pizza was good, but I wouldn't say it was extraordinary. Our server was pleasant, I'll give him that.

  • Steve W.

Excellent food. Well what I had was excellent. Tried the gyro and it was goooodddd!!!! Very filling. Tatziki sauce was good too. Had the key lime bar for desert. That was only so-so. Overall though a good experience. My co-worker had the hot pastrami sandwich and was very pleased as well.

Chicken pesto and artichoke pizza was amazing, 10 inch size was plenty big for a hungry person. Fast and friendly service. As Arnold said: "I'll be back".

A very nice family owned pizzeria and cafe. Recent remodeling added a great bar and sports watching area. Pizza by the slice with your choice of toppings is great intro to their food. Staff is friendly, the place is clean and the prices are very reasonable. Close to Grand Junction airport and numerous motels on Horizon Drive.

We were staying at a hotel by the airport and came upon this restaurant. We loved it! Our food was awesome! The restaurant was loud and fun and our waitress was very friendly. We will go back whenever we are in grand junction!

  • Keelin S.

I used to go to this restaurant weekly and would have given it at least a 4 star rating. Now, I would prefer to give them a big fat ZERO. As I continued to go (and let me note here that I no longer eat at Enzos), I observed that prices went up and quality either degraded or remained the same. The remodel is nice but not worth a 7$ iced tea with a slice of pepperoni pizza. Their customer service has also declined over time and I have observed employees being nasty to each other- very blamey. It takes much longer to wait at the counter for them to heat up a pizza slice than ever and they don't give discounts for bringing in your own beverage container (they used to under the previous ownership). DO NOT GO! Your pockets will walk away empty and your belly will not be satisfied.

We were recommended Enzo's by a number of people in Palisade. We were excited to try Enzo's for dinner, but we were unfortunately disappointed. The three of us all had a different entrée: gluten-free shrimp scampi, chicken parmesan, and the asiago gnocchi. None of us were impressed as we heard that Enzo's had pretty authentic Italian. Our food was oily and mushy. The gluten-free shrimp scampi was brought out in two different dishes: a bowl of buttery shrimp and a bowl of pasta marinara (brought out later). My friend did say that the shrimp was fantastic. Had we made this food at home, we would have been fine... however we each paid over $20 for subpar food :-( On a plus, the salads and garlic bread were delicious! And the waitress/bartender was attentive and polite.

Yelp coming through again, passing through Colorado and needed a good place to eat. Based on recent 4 star reviews, we decided to give Enzo's a shot. Very small place (almost cramped) and glad we made a reservation prior to showing up. Wasn't expecting too much. We ordered a 10-inch personal pizza, spaghetti, Da Vinci Calzone, carrot cake, gelato w/ chocolate hard shell. Everything was very tasty/flavorful. Food felt very light and not heavy like other Italian restaurants we've been to. Service was good, the place was packed for a Monday night and all the staff was hustling and bustling the entire time. Would definitely dine here again.

YUCK! Worst pseudo Italian food I have ever been served. I ordered the veal marsala and it tasted like the meat was old and starting to turn. The sauce was splitting from the grease pooling on the plate. Veal is lean, so it's a mystery to me where all the grease was coming from, but it was nasty. The breading on the meat was chunky and crumbling off in the greasy sauce. My mashed potatoes infused with parmesan cheese had a crusty layer of potato on the top & could not be eaten without a knife since the cheese was so thick in the middle. The gnocchi served as appetizers were also greasy and hard to stomach. I was also seated outside and downwind of a chain smoker and one man smoking a cigar at the next table over. My glass of wine was the only thing about this meal that I liked. Here's your one star.

Had a meatball sub here for lunch recently. My server was very pleasant and provided some of her "favorites" as recommendations. The food came out quickly and was solid meatball sub fare. Wouldn't mind coming back later to try their pizza as well.

Okay...so we stopped in for dinner again on our return trip August 5th. We requested the same Server from our previous visit. She welcomed us like family! Served us like we were her only table during a very busy dinner hour. Dinner was delivered with perfect timing as we received our drinks, Calamari appetizer, Caesar Salad with Chicken and Chicken pesto & Artichoke pizza. We even recognized another couple from out last visit who returned to have dinner too. Enzo's Pizzeria & Italian Cafe has outstanding Italian food and service to match! Thanks to Clayton for taking time to respond to my 'post'. We will be spreading the word about Enzo's!!

I've been to both locations in thelast few months. The main location had great food but was SO LOUD and Crowded it was hard to hear anything the two other people at the table were saying. The pizzera and bar- was less crowded GREAT pizza but it took 15+ mins to get our water and beers and there were only about 6 other tables there...pizza took about 40 mins to come out! Also I think a $5 upcharge for Gluten Free pasta is a little Much... I would call before and order pizza to go.

Impressed! Nice atmosphere, good food, fair prices, solid wine list. Reminiscent of Italy. We had the pressed focaccia, salad, and meatball sliders. All decent portions although the sandwich could have come with a small side to complete it. As we were sitting in the booth we saw a painting of a bottle of wine from a very small vineyard we visited in Montalcino. Random! Would go back and try the pizza.

First, let me say "Thank you" to Yelp and the helpful Yelpers that persuaded me to chose Enzo's. Now, is Enzo's the best Italian joint you'll ever visit? No, it's not. Is it the best Italian joint you'll ever visit in the Grand Valley? Yes. Yes, it is. Upon entering the parking lot on a Friday night, my failure to make reservations was realized. As a consequence of my poor planning, my party of four was sentenced to wait at a small bistro table adjacent to the entry. From my perch, I saw how clean everything was and how cheerfully the staff worked. Once seated in the dining room, our orders were quickly and happily taken by a professional and pleasant waitress. I discovered a well laid out menu and prices better than expected, considering the atmosphere. Stone arches and wood beams in the dining area added a flare of Old-World charm to the contrasting deli counter feel at the entrance (vis. white walls, bright lights, and fast food soda fountain). Over all, the environment was cozy and the dining room lighting was just about right. The ambient volume, however, teetered on the boarder of energetic and thought-prohibiting. Their Spring Salad is amazing, making up for whatever shortcomings. Never have I been served a salad so fresh, full of various veggies, and decked with blackberries, blueberries, candied walnuts, and Feta cheese all dressed in raspberry vinaigrette. Very nicely done! And my review wouldn't be complete without mentioning their meatballs, which provide evidence of a higher power. Awesome! I do recommend a visit, and I will return. Maybe I'll see you there.

Very good Italian food. The veal dishes are super good. Wine selection is top notch. The pizza is excellent. The rest of the menu is tasty too. I'd give it another star, except they recently pointed the shrink ray at all their portions and raised the prices. I'm not one of those eat-until-I'm-catatonic Golden Corral people, but I do like to take a little home if I don't feel like stuffing my face. You can't do that with most dishes now. Sign of the times. Good food though.

I enjoyed my meal, and the service was very good. My only issue was the bartender, he was super loud and obnoxious. The regulars seemed to love him, so maybe it is just me.

Excellent little pizzeria. Establishment is quite small, crapped and really loud, but worth it (hence my 4 stars) Wait staff is excellent and attentive. Had Caesar salad which was perfect portion to compliment my entree. I ordered the eggplant rolotini without meat and half the cheese (trying to keep it vegetarian and healthy) and the server had the chef tailor the entree to my needs. She was extremely polite! I go here every time I am here for business.

This place blew me away. I was not expecting much from the strip mall location near the airport. I decided to walk over from the hotel and see what kind of options I could find for dinner. The place is quite nice with a great wine and beer selection. I had a salad that was extremely fresh. I would highly recommend this place.

My wife and I ate here while stopping for the night on a road trip. It seems to be a local place, as opposed to most of the fast food in the area. The pizza was good and reasonably priced, and the rest of the menu was pretty standard Italian fare The creme brulee was pretty good, and the gelato was good, but it came out of the freezer. If you go, don't sit by the front window--there is a draft. If I come back through the area, I'd eat there again.

We happily ended up at Enzo's after ll Italian bistro sent us packing. Apparently it's reservation only... But that's another review. Enzo's was delicious. The spaghetti was cooked perfect, ravioli was supreme. The only downside was the wait , 30+ min. But worth it!!

The food was absolutely delicious! Enzo's is a family-owned restaurant and the owners try very hard to make their customers happy, but it is a very popular restaurant with a small seating area. Because of the popularity and limited seating, I spent a long, overly-warm, noisy, and crowded evening at the restaurant (hence the three stars, which is an abnormally-low review for this restaurant). We walked in without a reservation and ended up waiting an hour-and-a-half for a table (although I think our wait-time was longer than others due to a misunderstanding). In any case, I HIGHLY recommend calling ahead to make a reservation if you want to eat here. The menu was gluten-free friendly (my sister was in heaven!), but I had some trouble as a vegetarian. I now know, after corresponding with the owners, that the chefs are willing to modify dishes (if possible) to make them vegetarian, but my server was new and told me this wasn't possible, so I wasn't able to order the dish I wanted. And, even though I'd specifically asked for a meat-free dish, the server didn't tell me that the soup of the day had meat in it. I was left to discover this fact for myself after my first bite of the soup. So, after waiting an hour-and-a-half to get a table, I was rather cranky to find that I couldn't eat one-third of my dinner. I should note that the other diners (including the rest of my family), left the restaurant happy in spite of the long wait -- this is the magic of really good food. There but for the bacon in my soup go I ...

The service was great, our waitress was super friendly and attentive. The food was awesome too. The lobster ravioli special made with peach sauce from local peaches was great and very unique. The peach cheese cake was out of this world good. We'll definitely come back next time we are here. This place was a really nice surprise for us and I would recommend it to anyone who's in the area. The place is busy so be patient as there will be a wait....

I enjoy going to this place, and everyone I bring here loves it, too. The service is wonderful, and I love sitting on the patio in the summer. They have good mixed drinks. The potato pizza is awesome, and we usually get that when we go. My friends and family have tried their other pizzas and raved about them. My boyfriend's boss is from NYC, and he recommended this place for good pizza. I suppose New Yorker's are the experts on pizza, so that says it all!

The atmosphere was great. The food was not. Chicken alfredo was luke warm. We were seated by the employee area coming out of the kitchen which was very annoying.

Ordered two pizzas to go and they were delish. I really liked the pizza menu - menu choices:, red sauce, white sauce, no sauce. Interesting and unique pizza items cooked to order and just as you request. My only disappointment was that the toppings on both pizzas were pretty scant. The Balsamic Pizza was very good. Had a hint of sweet but not too much, with fresh grilled asparagus and Prosciutto. Unfortunately, the amount of asparagus and Prosciutto, to me, was lacking. The same was true with the Mediterranean Pizza. Fresh ingredients cooked well but, really, not enough of them to really appreciate the pizza. Other than the aforesaid, I would definitely recommend Enzo's but, without an increase in amount of items, I'd probably stick to the less expensive choices.

Probably the best Italian option in Grand Junction. Not to say it is amazing but it is good. For lunch they have a buffett witha little of everything and I thought it was good, especially for a buffett.

I haven't had anything else here besides the Chicken Picatta...it is soooo good I'm afraid to try anything else! The other night they had a Butternut Squash soup for a starter and it was fresh, homemade and delicious!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
